Starting Something New

When we first met Astrid, founder of ABML and an extraordinary financial services lawyer, we instantly connected. She was looking for a fresh way to showcase her firm’s expertise and values — and was intrigued by our hybrid AI production approach, which blends the craft of traditional cinematography with the speed and efficiency of artificial intelligence. Together, we set out to create a foundational brand video: a piece that would clearly communicate who ABML is, what they do, and why clients can trust them. From the start, it felt like a true partnership where her legal acumen and our creative expertise came together seamlessly.

Challenge

ABML is known for high-stakes financial services law. Astrid and her partner  62C were focused on delivering legal excellence, not producing content or managing communications. The challenge was to create a video that established trust while also laying the foundations for growth. The message needed to balance professional credibility with approachability, answering the critical client question: “Who can I trust with my business?” On top of that, we wanted to demonstrate how modern production techniques could achieve all this faster and more cost-effectively than a traditional film shoot.

Our Approach

We began by developing several script concepts, ultimately merging two key themes: trust and building foundations. Once the narrative was locked, we took an unconventional but highly effective route — training custom AI models on Astrid’s likeness and voice. By using simple reference material (Zoom recordings and headshots), we were able to generate a professional on-screen presence without requiring a full live-action shoot. This process combined:

  • Virtual production, VFX, and green-screen techniques.

  • AI-driven avatar and voice synthesis for Astrid.

The result was a cheaper, faster, better production workflow that delivered high-quality video in record time.
